Policy Insights: Models of Philanthropy in Education

This Policy Insights publication concludes the vital work conducted within the Philanthropy in Education Symposium Series. The publication shares short pieces authored by experts working in the space of philanthropy and education. It aims to share learning on regional and global philanthropic giving to education with a broader audience. “Policy Insights: Models of Philanthropy in Education” provides policy stakeholders and others with a range of innovative and critical perspectives on the topic, drawing on the discussions and findings that contributed to the Philanthropy in Education Symposium Series.


NORRAG Blog Series Philanthropy in Education

Following the Inaugural Symposium, NORRAG started a series of blog posts around the topic of ‘Philanthropy in Education’. This debate stream will contribute to the ongoing dialogue to help unpack the questions, issues, and arguments concerning philanthropy in the education sector.

 

NORRAG Book Philanthropy in Education: Diverse Perspectives and Global Trends.

Launched in November 2019 by NORRAG and the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. The NORRAG Book Philanthropy in Education: Diverse Perspectives and Global Trends is the second volume of the open-access book series entitled NORRAG Series in International Education and Development, published by E. Elgar Cheltenham, UK and is edited by Natasha Y. Ridge, Executive Director, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, and Arushi Terway, Senior Lead Research Associate, NORRAG.

 

NORRAG Special Issue 04: New Philanthropy and the Disruption of Global Education

NSI 04 aims to highlight global and national level experiences and perspectives on the participation of new philanthropy in education and is guest-edited by NORRAG’s Marina Avelar and Lara Patil, Advisor.
