The KIX EMAP Hub is launching a new knowledge exchange activity in the SAMENA Sub-Region: Knowledge Cafés. These Knowledge Cafés are meant to be an informal and collaborative conversation, designed to foster open dialogue and knowledge exchange amongst participants in the sub-region on topics of mutual interest. They are planned as a recurring bi-monthly event on the second Thursday of the month, from 12:30-13:30 (CET/your time zone here).

The Knowledge Café events are facilitated by SAMENA’s Knowledge Lead, Rasha Sharaf and they are structured in a way that allows everyone to participate and contribute their insights. Participants are encouraged to enjoy their coffees in an informal online setting and share short updates about their work, research, projects, proposals for funding, partnerships, conferences, networking and more.

If you are interested in participating, please register here and add the event to your online calendar for the local time adjustment. Meetings will be hosted on Zoom, with this one-time registration for access to all reoccurring sessions. Padlet will be used to manage those who wish to contribute to the Knowledge Café (sign up here). Alternatively, join the bi-monthly live stream on Facebook. These events will be primarily conducted in English.
