Date: 12 – 13 October 2022
Time: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM EDT (13:00 – 14:30 Geneva time)
On 12-13 October 2022 from 13:00-14:30 Geneva time, the Global Partnership for Education Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX), in partnership with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) will host the Third Annual KIX Symposium.
The symposium will be dedicated to Evidence-Informed Policy Dialogue For System Transformation with a particular focus on two education priorities: Gender Equality and Data Systems/Use. The event will demonstrate how the work of the KIX initiatives, such as KIX’s applied research projects and Hubs, addresses these priorities, and how education stakeholders in GPE partner countries are using evidence and knowledge from KIX’s innovations and activities. It will also provide an update on the progress made in the third year and information on upcoming priorities.
On 13 October, Marina Dreux Frotté, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead, KIX EAP Hub, and Moosa Adam, Senior Policy Director, Ministry of Education, Maldives, will present how the KIX EAP Hub addresses data challenges in the EAP region and the experience of the KIX EAP Learning cycle on equitable access to education with geospatial data.
The event will be organized in English with simultaneous interpretation into French and Spanish.
