Symposium International Education Policy 24th March 2017, Fribourg

Date and Location:
24th March 9.45-16h30
Regina Mundi, c-0.101, Rue P.-A Faucigny 2, Fribourg

This one-day symposium is organized by the University of Fribourg and provided for the benefit of students and faculty in Education Sciences (BA and MA- level) as well as any other interested students and faculty across the University. It will be presenting a "snapshot" introduction to the complex field of education policy in an international context. It is hoped that by the end of the day, participants will have learned about both theory and practice of the international education policy as it takes place through actors, institutions, procedures and politics.

Our Director Professor Gita Steiner-Khamsi and Executive Director Dr Joost Monks will be attending the Symposium. Professor Steiner-Khamsi will be delivering the keynote address "Learning from elsewhere: a social network analysis of international references in school reform".
