WHAT IS NORRAG?

NORRAG is a focus and a forum for the analysis of aid and international policy development in the education and training sector.

NORRAG (Network for Policy Research, Review and Advice on Education and Training) is a free to use network, supported by DFID and SDC, committed to encouraging critical analysis of international development especially in the field of education and training through a network of researchers, policymakers, donor agencies and NGOs.

Our main tool is NORRAG NEWS (NN), a digital newsletter that is produced twice per year. It has a large number of concise papers, focusing on policy implications of research findings and/or on the practical implications of new policies formulated by multilateral agencies or donors.

NORRAG is presently funded by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and the UK Department for International Development (DFID). The network was constituted as an association under Swiss law in July 1992. It is international and based at the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED) in Geneva, Switzerland.
